Sunday 7 to Sunday 21 May
There’s only One You so it’s important to look after yourself.
The One You Wellbeing Festival is a celebration of the small changes we can all make to help us feel good and improve our health right away.
Our busy lives can make it hard to be healthy, but with the right support and motivation there are simple things we can do like eating well, being more active, and looking after our emotional wellbeing.
Find out more at the One You Wellbeing Day on Sunday 7 May at Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre, a free fun event for all ages. Pop along any time between 11am and 3pm to get tips and support, watch displays and demonstrations, and find your new favourite way to get active in the Move More zone. If you’re aged between 40 and 74 we’re also offering a free NHS Health Check, think of it as your own personal health MOT.
Then from Monday 8 to Sunday 21 May we’re encouraging people to move more with a range of free, discounted and low-cost physical activity opportunities across Hart, Rushmoor and Waverley. Activities will be provided by local leisure centres, sports clubs and trained instructors.
We know that finding an activity you enjoy means you’re more likely to stick with it, so we’re hoping to inspire people to try something new and find a way of moving more that suits them.
There’s plenty happening including walking, running, swimming, group exercise classes, walking football, cycling and more.
For more information about what’s on visit www.hart.gov.uk/oneyou or call 01252 774228.
The festival is being organised by North East Hampshire & Farnham CCG, Hart District Council, Rushmoor Borough Council, and Waverley Borough Council.
