Church Crookham Parish Council

Church Crookham Parish Council was formed on 1st April 2010. There are 10 seats for Parish Councillors, currently we have eight councillors who are all residents of Church Crookham. Parish Councillors are all volunteers.

Parish Council funding is principally provided by the annual precept which is paid by residents as part of their council tax (approx. £54 per annum for a band D household)

Parish Council Powers and Duties

The powers and duties of a Parish Council are wide ranging and include the following: The power to provide allotments, powers to provide and maintain bus shelters, the power to provide and equip buildings for use of clubs, the power to acquire and maintain land and the power to contribute financially to traffic calming schemes.
